My hubby is in your same boat. He works 10 on, then 4 off. He spends the 4 off sleeping, and the 10 on working, so nothing ever gets done around our house. It's hard, I just live for the day that he can get on a normal shift. Whatever that is. Don't have any words of wisdom, I just know that the shift sucks and that it won't be forever... As for Christmas decorating? Just throw a string up lights around, add some greenery, some candles, play Christmas music, and call it done. You can't do everything! Good luck, and best wishes for the holidays!

Oh that would be really hard! I hope the night shift doesn't last too long! Any possibilities of switching soon? Porbably not huh? Well grab a nap...you are gonna need one!
